This game could be compared to the popular video game Wild Gunman, where one has to outshoot another player with a similar device as the zapper. For its time it was very entertaining and the graphics were standard for games developed at the time. The graphics for a game developed in the 1980s are what they are, they use a simple color palette and simple 8-bit style graphics. What’s different from the Wii and the NES is that the Wii enables you to have a crosshair on screen, this can be disabled however to increase the difficulty.
However, with the Wii, the controller is supported by the Wii remote and it’s extensions.
Early variations of Duck Hunt have the controls based on a standard NES controller with the NES zapper type controller. In Duck Hunt, there are 3 variations to choose from, A which launches one bird at a time, B which launches two birds at the same time, and C where ducks are replaced with clay pigeons and your dog is removed.
